I just did this very thing this weekend. I was trading out the stock grill for a honeycomb and took that opportunity to paint the crosshairs. It turned out very nice. I used this write-up: chargerforumz.com/showthread.php?t=98718Here are the pics: Before- In process- Installed- It looks great. It will really tie in well with the new vinyl I have coming in next week. I used this for the grill removal: chargerforumz.com/showthread.php?t=23347It took about 30 minutes. It was a little frustrating, but not very difficult.

Painting over the chrome can sometimes lead to some rocks taking off the black paint, even if you use truck bead liner. I found out that if you use a razor blade, you can peel the chrome off the grill. Then sand and paint. The paint stays on even with rock chips. Took me about 2 hours to get the chrome off.
