So I pull into Mac D's to grab me an Egg McMuffin. As I am pulling up to the window, I hear a clicking sound coming from my left rear tire area. I figured I had picked up a nail or something. I pulled over and checked the tire. No nail, no rock stuck in the tread. Hmmmmm........ So I pull up next to a building and start driving slow (couldn't hear it on the open road). I noticed the clicking is only there when I am pressing the accelorator. If I shift to neutral, now click. Neutral with revving the engine, no click. Only in gear. Any ideas?

My guess is Muffler Bearings or Maybe Blinker fluid is low. (Just Playing)
Not to make light joke of your clicking sound, but I thought ya might wanna have a good laugh. Sorry to hear (no pun intended) bout clicking sound when ya give it gas. I had similar sound on my wife Civic, come to find out its the valve timing, shouldnt be the issue on your car as you dont have nearly the miles we have 232k on 97 Civic. Does it affect your car performance or driveablity? Hopefully its nothing too serious. Good Luck
