Anyone have any experience, positive or negative, with Hankook? I'm looking at the XL Hankook Ventus V12 evo... Discount has them for around $154/tire...

I don't have any experience with those. I've only tried the Nitto 420s, Goodyear Eagle GTIIs, and Lexani LX4000s.

I had them on my car. They seemed ok. But I wasn't drifting nor could I really tell a difference between those and the Eagles. They have had pretty positive reviews from several boards.
Let's see, I punched it, the back end went out from behind me, I was sideways in the intersection, the axles didn't break. I think they worked good:)

LOL, excellent review Kellie  I see them on tirerack.com for ~300/pair versus the good years, which come in at 600/pair... |

Very Nice speed rating, and should give you better than average tire life. At that price, it makes burning rubber a little easier to stomach.

i seen these tires the other day. the price is great. i am deciding if i want to drop the cash for this tires or wait to order my dream wheels....
