Hello everyone. I am new to this forum and I have a 2006 Chrysler 300 and noticed a lot of people have done halo conversions or some HID conversions. I was wondering, has anyone ever heard of or used these lights? www.carid.com/2006-chrysler-300-headlights/halo-projector-83313.html They seem like a pretty good price and for the whole assembly rather than conversions. Is the reason people go with the conversions because of full customization over convenience? Are the all in one kits junk?

Honestly, I originally got my aftermarket headlights because I wanted the projectors and the halos. Seemed like a very easy mod. Then I added other halos on it for more looks. Whereabouts are you from? Welcome to SLCLX. Post up a picture of your ride when you get the chance.

Welcome!! WHen you get a chance post a pic of your ride. yes! another 300 in the group. For the price of the set you posted you could buy some AAC halos, and a replacement set of housings so that you can install the halos.

Thank you very much guys. I live in the Sugarhouse/Millcreek area and just purchased my car over the weekend. It's nice right now but I'm going to do a lot more to it to get it exactly how I want it. Tint will be the first thing I do. I'll get pics up soon.
benisaspud, thanks for that link. I'm gonna check those out too. So your headlights from that autorama picture are all in one aftermarket housings with some additional halo's?
eddyrican, I'll look into that too.

I have aftermarket headlights and then I installed more halos on top of it. Let us know if you need any help. There are plenty of guys here with a lot of install experience. Maybe when the weather gets warmer, we can even do a mod day.

Welcome from West Jordan. I have used both ccfl and leds halos from AAC. There are advantages and disadvantages of both.
the CCFL's require inverters which do have problems. They stop working. The CCFL bulbs are very fragile. White CCFL are not very bright but the color options are usually brighter and look better. The LED's do not require inverters but they don't seem to last very long. Once one led goes out the rest of the fixture is sure to follow.
Unfortunately, I have experienced broken ccfl, bad inverters, and failing leds. But the coolness factor outweighs the pain factor.
I don't know about the projectors but they don't look as bright as I would like halos to be.

I bought a set of after market projection lights with the Halo rings and LEDs for my 07 Mag - easy install and I did not have to break open the factory lights to install the halo rings - prob more of a personal preference in the long run
