Got my Hotchkis sway bars in the mail today and couldn't wait even a few hours to get them on. Stock front sway bar is 15/16" thick, this Hotchkis bar is an 1 1/2" thick and its hollow so it actually weighs less than the stock one. Handling is not even comparable, I can take the round-a-bout by my house a lot faster now I've still got the rear sway bar and a set of Hotchkis leaf springs that I still have to put on. The sad part is I figured out I'm gonna have to do a C-notch in the frame so my axle doesn't hit it. But I've already got all the stuff to do that, and I know a really really amazing welder so that's not really a problem. It's just trying to find the time to have him do it.

Yeah pretty much all of the running gear is gonna be brand new on my truck.
I am not looking forward to changing out all the bushings for the polyurethane ones though lol.

nothing like a set of fat sways too change a ride, especially on a truck! very nice! lil' red dakota that handles like a porsche! pst has some good deals on poly kits, haven't looked at there late model selection but ive purchased 2 kits from them in the past, one for my 79 magnum and one for my superbird!
