Well for the Diablo predator owners Diablo sport has added a throttle booster to the new crom. For the the 3.5 folks its the new 9r07 update and for the 5.7 folk its 9r28. What it does is get rid of the throttle lag at low speeds and at take off. It can be ajusted up from 0% to 20% also can be ajusted down. I did this last night and only done +10% and can feel the throttle responce is sooooooooo much better! Good by lag! will be bumping it up to 20% later today to see how i like the +20% witch i have read is sooooooo much better for throttle responce. Hope this helps! I like it!! ;D You can find reads about it hear. www.diablosport.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewforum&f=29&topicdays=0&start=50

Thanks Dean for the Info! I am not sure how much of a difference there is, but certainly worth a try. Any and every little bit can help.

explanation in a nutshell! our cars are what they call "drive-by-wire" theres no throttle cable to speak of as in all of our older cars! there is a sensor mounted to the accelerator pedal arm assembly that communicates the throttle position to the computer who then in turn communicates to the throttle body opening and closing. and there is hesitation during this so im figuring diablo found a way to cut down the reaction or response time making for faster throttle response. this was just out of my head with my understanding, if anyone finds a simpler or better response please post them as I find im usually quiet confusing lol!

Here Tanya this is what i used to refreash my memory.
Ok won't let me post the page. So go to DiabloSport web site, then go to the support tab.Go to Docs & instruction in that tab. Then Go down to Predator Revision update instrucions. It will tell u how to load a new revision. You can also just get the Throttle boosted added with out adding the new revision, but not sure how to do that yet. I just want the new revision so i did the whole thing.
Hope this helps.
