Many thanks to Gordy for helping me install the SRT-8 suspension that Sean gave me from his Bee. Gordy has a friend with an awesome garage with a lift that really helped in the process. It was a lil' rough going at first but after some trial and error and a "little improvising" (let's just say that I never thought I'd be swinging from my car) the last 3 went in pretty smooth.
The ride is definitley more sporty with a firmer and tighter ride. I measured the before and I will measure it again after it settles to see how much of a drop I got. There was about a 1" difference in the coils so I will be happy with a 1/2 - 3/4 inch drop.

No, I didn't bring the camera. There could've been some nice shots too. The guys garage was full of Mustangs and Gordy and I had fun joking with them.

nice mod thats for sure but I thought the srt was just 1in lower than the r/t

Yea we could have gotten some interesting pictures if we had a camera!  There were just a couple of Mustangs around weren't there! Nice once's at that! He's a really good guy, and he has admitted that he's second choice would be a Mopar. His daily driver is a Durango. He just would never allow a Chevy in his garage. |

Kudos and Karma for Gordon and Sean! Post pics Dave when you get a chance. Was talking to Eddy bout SRT8 suspension on V6, and it actually raises the car more due to engine weight.

nice mod thats for sure but I thought the srt was just 1in lower than the r/t It definitely dropped some more after it settled. I didn't want anymore than one inch. I have to be careful pulling into parking spots now cuz the Danko front lip barely clears the curb stoppers. |
