Looks like vinyl that goes over your sunroof? Not sure but that's what I think anyway.

a new "rock chip free" windshield? AND WE HAVE A WINNER. Let me know if you would like this installed and I'll try to find a shop near you to install it for you. Our company is called Clearplex and we have paired up with Clearbra to make basically a "clearbra" for the windshield. We can also make them for the other windows of your cars to really slow down intruders that try to break the windows. You can go to Invisible Windshield Protection Films by ClearPlex® to check out more info. As of right now, we are just starting out and trying to train as many people as we can to install this product to as many places in the U.S. right now. Because we are based out of Utah, we have a lot more places here to install. We just barely trained someone in Reno and North Hollywood. I would really like to expand more, so if you all know of tint shops that would be interested in this, I can send out fliers, cards, and brochures about this to them.

Looks like a good idea. I am a big advocate of clearbra protection.
What about the infamous yellowing seen in clearbra products? Easily scratches too. I remember at a show when it was really hot and I put some cleaner on my clear bra and used the microfiber to wipe it. I had deep scratch marks in the clearbra. Since it installs on the outside? how it is holding up to windshield wipers?

Also curious about this, As kelly stated does it scratch? Cause streaks? Does water easily run off it like a window with invisible glass or rain-x on it?

There isn't any yellowing and I'll have to get back to you about the scratching. I'll find some test pieces and do some scratching and tests. It's totally fine with the wiper blades as long as when you use it, make sure that the windshield is wet in any way. Just basic, don't dry wipe. lol! I just took it through the machine car wash today and the water ran right off of it. I didn't even need to wipe down my windshield.

If you ever look closely at my car, I just took my clear bra off the hood and fenders. It never yellowed, never scratched, in fact I regret pealing it back. The reason I did was because living in Wyoming all it took was one trip to Lost Wages (Las Vegas) and it expanded then shrunk so bad it pealed about a 1/4" at all edges. I'm going to consider this. My car needs a new windshield as mine is as pitted as J. Simpsons face before Proactive.

Say what you will about clearbra, I really wish I had put one on before springfest. My freshly painted fascia and hood got hammered with rockchips on the drive to Irvine. Now It will need painted again. it's one of the reasons I've not gone to any shows this season. :-(
Ben, is the windshield ClearBra comparable in price to the one that goes on the front of the car?
