so i got bored again and decided to find something on my car i wanted to change and ended up tear into the grill.... so after a couple mistakes and some hours of sanding, painting, resanding, and repainting lol. this is what it came out to look like what do you think? oh and i'm trying to decide if i should paint it and if so, should i paint it black or green? I see, you cut the slats, took me a second to notice the difference. Looks pretty close to the MoPower Grill Great mod on a budget!

IMO, grab yourself a little bondo-hair and fill in the cut marks. After that, stripe the edge of it the same color as the pinstripes on your car.
I've been thinking about doing something similar, but would like to use a factory style honeycomb, if I get a good enough price on a second insert I may give it a go.
