My OEM rear air diffuser came in yesterday and I plan on installing it soon. I am undecided on whether to paint it body color matched (brilliant black) or leave it stock (flat black). I've seen pics on the forums done both ways and like them both but I'm starting to think the flat wont stand out. What do you guys think? Paint it or leave it stock? Painted: Stock:

I like the look of the flat black.

I like the look of the flat black. I plan on taking it in for a quote on the paint today after work. I guess it's an outragious quote to paint, I can leave it stock and take it off later for paint. Decisions, decisions...

Flat Black looks better IMO, but arent all your piece on your Charger Painted to match car? Either way, I am sure it would look great.

I would colormatch but leave the honeycomb flat black.

I would leave it flat that way it stands out.

If your rear lower chin spoiler is flat than I would leave the spoiler flat

I say put it on stock and see what you think. You can always paint it latter if you don't like it. Can't take the paint off once you paint it.

Well, you guys were no help! ;D Everybody had good opinions but I decided to get her painted. I figured if I still had my stock rocker panels and front lip that were the flat black I would've left it alone but everything is color matched so off to paint it goes. I dropped it off to the same guy that did my fenders. His name is Ritchie at Cutrubus Collision Center in Layton and highly recommended.

Probably too late but another idea would be to have them paint the honeycomb gray to match your rims/shaker. The rest would be colormatched BB.

You got great tastes Mikey! ;D I actually asked him about that. I would have to pay $$ more to get it done due to the paint cost. I have a work around it planned. I'll post pics once it's done.

I was going to recommend painting it but it looks like you have already made up your mind. While the painted version may blend in more, I think it offers a cleaner look.

I would paint it to match your stripes and your wheels.
