Hey Everyone, Just got off the phone with Evan at Miller Motorsports Park.
Not sure if there is a large enough interest to reserve the track for just Mopars, as it is pretty expensive to rent.
The Price quote for Full Track 4.5 Miles with 23 turns weekend rate is $16500, I know right $16500. Which translates to roughly 66 drivers @ $250 or 48 drivers @ $350. There is no limit or max driver count. Obviously the more drivers we get, the lower the cost. This is all day event, so you are definitely getting your money worth.
Half track 2.3 Miles with 13 turns is $8250 for weekend rate.
Weekday Rate (Monday-Thursday) for full track is $11K and for half track is $5500. Which would be great but probably harder to get more drivers being weekday. Ideal would be great if we could get 55 drivers for a Thursday, making it $100 per driver.
Then there is Wide Open Wed, which is open to everyone, so this wouldn't be a club only event. This is half track, good for as many runs as possible, my understanding is they space the cars out so you are never near another car on race course. They have cones set up to keep the speed down compared to non wide open wed events. This cost is $25 per driver.

So with that being said, Is there an interest? Can we get a decent turn out of committed people to keep everyone cost as reasonable as possible?
I know everyone has different income levels and priorities/responsibilities, but me personal, my max limit would be $350 whether its full track or half track.
Is this something we should look into further or plan? is this something we should do injunction with another club; such as Camaro or Mustang club?
