I think I'll run 13.9-14.0's. No idea what the wife will run. Low 15's maybe.

Chris, I'm only gonna run a 150 shot. Best I was running without nitrous is 13.7 so it's gonna be interesting to say the least. Im gonna drink 3 red bulls to Have killer reaction time should be fun.

I'm not going anymore you guys are mean Lmao LOL, you just added 45 mins to an hour of more track time to all the other drivers for the night, just kidding. You will be fine, just teasing you bro. I'm in as long as they let me run street and club night, I need to keep my points in street? You can do both, many of us ran both last year and previous years. You would just use the same number, you already have assigned. Downside, you are looking at $50 for the night ,$25 for your street class & $25 for your club class, upside is more runs for you to get dialed in for both classes. Oh dont worry, they space it out to give you enough time for the next race, even if you were to advance to final in both classes. I think I'll run 13.9-14.0's. No idea what the wife will run. Low 15's maybe. Sounds pretty dang accurate, glad to see both of you planning on running. In the past we have had 3 GCSRT, think you might be the only one, as Phil is running his newly supercharged Challenger. Chris, I'm only gonna run a 150 shot. Best I was running without nitrous is 13.7 so it's gonna be interesting to say the least. Im gonna drink 3 red bulls to Have killer reaction time should be fun. So you are saying I can use the window chalk to write 12.5 or bust on the back of your window? ;D Reaction time wont have anything to do with your E/T since the clock doesnt start running until your front tire crosses the sensor to trigger the clock, meaning you can sit there for 5 seconds and still have a 13 second run. Wouldnt recommend it doing this, since your reaction time ranks you against other drivers for first rd, meaning you have the worst reaction time, you will get stuck racing someone with the best reaction time. E/T are in your 60ft time, not R/T.

Any guesses or bets on what people will run? Lol I am guessing you will probably see 13 flat or high 12s with your new Vortech SuperCharger set up. Key is putting the power down off the line. I expect you will have one of the higher trap speeds of the night like 109MPH give or take a few. I hope whatever I run, I run it all day long, so I can be consistent. That is what is going to win the race. I will be happy with 12.9 but that maybe a strecth with the hotter weather and higher DA. So If I can run 13.4s all day, I will be happy with that as well. I guess the better question, is what do you think you will run? I'm thinking based on what I ran before you'd be right. I have been wondering if I'll need a new tune for Vegas though... I've been invited out that way later in the year but not sure I'll be going. I've been practicing my launches so I think I can be pretty consistent in that regard. Are we going to have to put up a dial-in? No idea what mine should be...

Are we going to have to put up a dial-in? No idea what mine should be... Shouldnt need a new tune for Vegas, the lower DA just means your car will run much better out there, but I wouldnt waste the coin on a tune for Vegas, just my .2 cents, many of the LX/LY guys that run here, ran in Vegas for the MATS in April, dont think any of them had a tune just for Vegas. What did you get invited to, if you dont mind me asking? Invited to Las Vegas Motorspeedway? I thought about going out to Firebird in Boise to get some runs in, their DA is like 2200 on average which is pretty close if not better than Vegas. Sacrmento has a Mopar night in Sept but 11 hours to race is a bit much, but would be fun. I know Jon(kingsavage) takes his monsterous 426 Charger out there. As far as dial in, you are going to have to dial it in( write your time on windshield/side window) if you go faster than your dial in, its called a breakout and you are elimnated and done for the night. Happened to me last year in the 2nd round. You get 2 time trial runs to figure out your dial in, I usually just average my 2 runs and start there, you can adjust it anytime during the day, well before each run that is ;D, so if your car is getting faster each run throughout the night, you might want to take off a tenth, but that would be your judgement call. I plan to have the same air temp intake charge throughout the entire night, regardless of weather temps, so my dial in should be pretty consistent.

Does anyone have a decent video camera to record some races? I can get my headrest mount back from my friend and we can get some good shots. I've been wanting to put together a nice car video forever now. Lol

You should get a 17 if not better with your 3.5L. And this is bracket racign it really isn't about ht espeed as opposed to your consistency. Last year there was an old school Dart that was running 22 second quarter miles but she made it almost all the way.
