Thanks but I have one already. Just my motorcycle helmet. Just be sure it's snell 2005 rated! Not all motor cycle helmets are. Nice videos!! Looking forward to the 18th! And Chris, we missed you in Vegas! Would have been great to see ya run there. Yeah, make sure its snell 2005 rated or newer, cause they are checking very throughly when I was out there, dont know if that is a good thing they asked to see helmet assuming I ran sub 13.9. My last outing, one of the RMR staff, told me I parked my car in the wrong line, the line I parked in was for cars racing ;D True story, I still chuckle thinkin bout it. I think they probably thought I was Shaker, cause they asked if I was out Friday and asked me bout nitrious. Yeah it was great to get some video action, really wish I had go pro against the turbo ranger on my 13.1. Solid launch but not the best. Yeah If you can get some video/pictures of the burnout, that would be great. Gordon do you recall the DA in Vegas the weekend MATS was down there? Wish I was there as well to see and feel the difference. Curious what my trap speed and E/T would have been. Sadly best runs will be late April and Late Sept/Oct. If I dont get it May 16th or May 18th, think it will be more difficult come Aug 10th. |

Good and bad news folks! Good news - the drag strip at RMR is finally being repaved!  Bad News - they are repaving it the week of 5/14. That means the Test & Tune on the 16th is canceled as well as the Street Legal Races & Midnight Drags on 5/18! They just posted this on their website.  Looks like we have to look forward to Aug 10th, only one club race this year!  I've got an Email to the Track Manager to see if they have another night open they will be able to give us. |

Good and bad news folks! Good news - the drag strip at RMR is finally being repaved! Bad News - they are repaving it the week of 5/14. That means the Test & Tune on the 16th is canceled as well as the Street Legal Races & Midnight Drags on 5/18! They just posted this on their website. Looks like we have to look forward to Aug 10th, only one club race this year! I've got an Email to the Track Manager to see if they have another night open they will be able to give us. Are you fricken kidding me? Well that just sucks, may just bag it this year until mid October. Better Yet might have to go to Firebird Raceway in Boise Idaho. Carl Hill stated its a faster track anyway due to DA. Bummed out cause my Ported intake will probably be here by Monday and I am sure I could slap it on and have retune by Premier to add more timing before May 16th but I wanted to get it polished up first before I sent back mine so I dont have any car down time. |

What size TB you running now? 90mm TB easily puts you well over 500RWHP. I guess they only port up to 87mm. My 90mm TB is from Arrington Performance www.shophemi.com/c-488-hemi-throttle-bodys.aspxTBs are comparable in price, might as well go with 90mm and dont have to worry bout core and just sell yours 80mm outright. I held on to mine, just in case I have a back to stock sale.  |

Aug 10th is approaching with a little over as month away. Probably a good idea to get a count of those racing so we can turn it in to RMR management. Admins can we send out a Mass email with info along with Stansbury Carshow? Also does anyone have free time to put a PDF file flyer of event so we can print them and take them to the surrounding Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Dealerships parts and service depts.
Anyhow, looking forward to this and hope we continue having the great successful turnouts we have in the past few years. Which I dont suspect will be a problem with all the Performance Mod threads started throughtout the year. Time to test those Superchargers/ Turbos, Nitrous, Heads/Cams, Headers and Exhaust. Intake Mods out.
Last year's first place trophy went to Classic/Muscle Mopar, with Modern Mopar taking 2nd and 3rd. Lets see if Modern can take top 3 this year.
Lets get a list started on first page/first post, so Gordon has a close to accurate count.

I will do my best to be there.  I have the 3rd off cause of work schedules and have a wedding to go to but by the 10th I should have another vacation day available. I'll schedule it with the boss Monday. Worst case would be a half day but I'm trying to convince prelude dude to go. He can't race cause of leaks that can't be fixed by then but I'm slowly winning him over to the V8 side.... He wants a gto though.. :/ |
