Since when does Chrysler think its a good idea to mimic another auto makers supercar? Can we say 2012 Jaquar XKR!?!
I'm ruined... I'm a huge Viper fan due to its rather unique design. Corvettes started to look like Vipers and now Vipers like Jags? What the hell... good thing there's still a ton of Vipers on dealerships across the country waiting for me to buy. There's about 20 in Omaha alone... talk about a sight for sore eyes at that dealership.
Now Chris, if you feel like buying me one, I'll forgive you. I'll even drive it too :-).

That's just a rendering from March of last year, although I doubt we'll see another car with the long hood short deck of the first couple generations of Viper, especially if it's based off the same chassis as the Alfa 8C. I'm not a huge fan of the 'stressed skin' look that many car manufacturers are following these days, it seems to leave much less freedom to design, and as mentioned earlier, tends to have many cars look similar to other makes. That being said, at some point I will own one of these:  But I could settle for one of these:  I really just like my cars with as little electronic nannies as possible, and with the exception of the upcoming Viper, all previous generations meet that criteria. Plus there's something about having enough torque to rotate the earth that's just so appealing. |

I'll have to wait and see what the actual production model looks like. There were things about the Charger I didn't like, but it's starting to grow on me.
Will have to wait and see.
