So, either I must suffer from all things wrong with my Magnum... or, well, I don't know. Today I pulled into the garage and a buddy of mine followed me to the house to b.s. He pointed out, hey... it smells like electrical fire. Sure enough, we turn around and my passenger low beam plug/harness was a little torched. Similar to this: www.lxforums.com/board/f62/headlight-problem-62815/. Anyway, I had to order the replacement plug. Not sure when I'll see it, but at least I will be able to fix this yet again by myself. Has anyone else on here had this? It appears that from what I can tell, every time it happens it is using the same hyper white aftermarket bulbs. I don't like the factory bulbs so I guess its a good thing I have a fire extinguisher. I'm just gonna replace the plug and keep on keepin on!!!

between the left and right sides ive probably replaced 4 or more! they don't like anything above factory rated wattage (even bulbs rated the same wattage as factory like the popular LUMINICS bulbs have melted) I've replaced just the ends still melted, then i replaced the ends and added the higher wattage 8" harness with larger gauge wire and high wattage ends to get some separation distance from the factory harness and still had problems at both ends of the harness. the only thing i haven't tried is getting the ceramic ends! but i have a new set of housings that I'm retrofitting projectors and installing halos in for a swap out so i haven't been trying to solve that issue anymore! good luck will
