LOL Hey Tanya and Amanda, if ya'll show up at 7am, everyone is going to be long gone by an hour and half, just sayin. I believe everyone is meeting at Southtowne Mall (106s) exit at 630a and leaving sharply at 645a to arrive at Nephi at the start of the 8am kick off cruise party. Not sure how long it takes from up north to get to southtowne by 630a, but I would guess at least 45 min-an hour, which would make your departing time atleast 530-545a, not 7am

I just didn't know if we were meeting up north and getting down there together or just meeting down south. Either way that's too d**n early!!! But worth it! It's okay Tanya, I won't let you miss it. I would never hear the end of it. You will have the room key! Plus, what if I need a ride back?!? ;-)

If you guys (and gals) want to meet up and cruise down to South Towne together we can do that. It is a 45 minute drive down so we would need to meet up and leave by 5:45am at the latest, but I'd rather leave by 5:30am (since I'm going to be pulling a trailer).
Unless you have another idea, let's plan on meeting up a the Krispy Kreme in Layton, it's the only place I know of that's open that early. That way you can get some wake up juice if needed. It's on the corner of Gordon & Main, just north on the Hill Field Road.

Trying to work things out so that I can go on the cruise with you to St. George then turn around and head back to SLC. Anyone in for the turn around cruise.

I think it's a 7pm. I'll have to double check however. It's official, Hinkley Kick off party starts at 7pm on Wednesday April 11th!

Hey Gordy, I plan on putting my fifth wheel at the track too. When are you arriving? Would be nice to get a spot together. What do I need to do to camp at the track? Thanks!

Rodney That would be cool! I'm planning on leaving Nephi after the cruise leaves, which would be about 9:30am at the latest. Counting for gas stops and lunch, that would put me at the Speedway at about 3:30 or 4:30pm (we gain an hour). There's another guy from the MOU group that I'm trying to get to meet me in Nephi that's driving down a motor home to Caravan down together. The way it reads is you get one tow vehicle parking pass with every race entry. Your tow vehicle just happens to be your RV. Other wise they charge $75 (pre-paid or $85 at the gate) for the weekend. Everything has to be self contained. If your not racing, some one that is that is planning on staying at a Hotel can give you their free spot if they are willing to. Last day to register online for the pre-paid rates is March 30st. They will allow RV's in on Thursday, just be careful as in years past they will shut the lot down at like 8:00pm so if you are not inside the gate already the might not let you in.

My son's boss is probably going to cancel his scheduled vacation days meaning that he will not be able to go with me. I should know in a couple of days. If that happens and it probably will, I have an extra MATS 3 Day Spectator pass I'll be willing to work a deal on.
