Anyone have any idea where to get hoodpins? I'm really worried the hood is going to fly off. At 80 it shakes alot and granted i'll probably never go much faster than that, that is my cruising speed to work everyday. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

What? New hood? Have I seen pics? What's going on here? I feel left out... I like aftermarket hoods, and few have the structure in them to equal stock. But most require hood pins. I like hood pins, reminds me of the old fashioned big block hard body cars of the 60's.

Mine were from Moroso. Very similiar to the ones from Summit posted in post #2. I actually bought mine from Moroso for around $15-$20.

I like those a lot but the hood is cf. maybe paint them black?

Give John a call at CBD, they used to cancel any warranty on hoods that were drilled or cut into, I'm not 100% if they still do that for hood pins. I was a little freaked myself when I saw my hoods flex under load and speed. Not sure if you tried this, you can adjust your bump stops to pre load the hood and it will lessen the flex at speed and at temp. Oh yeah.... the CF bug gotta love it ;D

Thanks for all the help and sites and advice. Sean, I might have to swing by so you can show me what you're talking about. Might be after I get it back from the body shop.
