Is it a possibility for someone entering into the show to get me a weekend pass? I've heard they're a little more than a day pass, but I plan on going multiple times.

My concern is that in years past we have frozen our butts off waiting outside for the doors to open.
How about we say 9:30? An hour and half before showtime should be early enough to still get good spots.
