The count down has started! I'm really looking forward to the cruz down. From the sounds of it, it looks like we are going to have up to a hundred cards in the pack by the time we hit Vegas! And if I heard right, in the lead will be a super charged Charger Police Car.
I'm getting goose bumps just thinking about it!
Looking forward to seeing everyone down there! ;D

Cool. We all met Karl who worked on that supercharged police car last year at the Larry H. Miller Mopar Car show. They took a 5.7 R/T Charger and put the SRT body kit on it. It also has the brembo with drilled rotors. He put a beast of a Vortech supercharger in it too.

Here's the report on the MATS trip. Here are some of the photo's I thought would be of interests (can't post them all as there is too many). Didn't take may pictures of the actual racing, but did get lot's of video of that! ;D The cruse down Thursday was a blast. There were about 35 cars. On the open road we stretched out for about a mile or so. There were even cars in our group from Canada. We were suppose to meet up with a group from Colorado, but they got hung up and ended up going a different way. They would have added another 20 cars or so to our group. The lead car. A modified Charger SRT with a super charged 5.7 litter engine. About 540 horses under the hood. This is a real Utah Highway Patrol Car, and it was fun to see him race it down the strip (sorry don't remember the times). New Super Charger that was on one of the new Challengers in our group. Cruising Down the Road! There were two guys from magazines that followed us. This was one of the Photo Stops. I gave one of the photographers my card and he is going to send me a link to the pictures he took. I will post the link once I get it. Second Photo Stop My Ride! Customer Challenger. Thought you guys would like this one. This is a 70's Super Bird. Not too many of these left. There were a lot of classic restored cars on show. Here's one for you truck lovers! What event wouldn't be complete without the Blue's Brothers. There are a lot more pictures. I'll have to bring them all one my lap top to the next Meet and Great for those who want to see more.

Nice picture. Good 'ol Brett with his Twin Turbo Challenger, with a 426 stroker, and stage 2 heads. I wondered how he did on the track.

Nice picture. Good 'ol Brett with his Twin Turbo Challenger, with a 426 stroker, and stage 2 heads. I wondered how he did on the track. Never saw Bret's car on go down the strip. It spent most of the time in the Vendor area on display. I was hoping to see it run (maybe we can get him to join in to the RMR Drags). I was also hoping to see that Challenger with the super charger run, and I was again disappointed.

Just in case anyone was interested, the photographer that went on the MATS cruise this year finally posted his pictures. Here's the link in case anyone is interested in looking. Only thing that would have made them better was if more LX's were in them. But they are all good. www.smugmug.com/gallery/8006620_4jLmU

Kira did this video as an make up assignment for her auto shop class when we went to MATS earlier in the year. I have never found a way to share this as YouTube and PhotoBucket would always delete it due to the music in it. When Lee posted the video on Satursday's cruise it gave me an idea! videos.streetfire.net/video/MATS-Cruise-09_714172.htmWe are hoping we can make it in 2010!
