I wired up some Black light leds into my gauges 
It makes my needles glow like crazy. Oh and i Painted the sides of the gauges black with flourescent green cracks/Lightning or whatever you want to call it. Here is a before and after picture
Last pic is with the backlight on as well as the leds.
