Hey Everyone, just got an email from Trent, who is one the main guys who helps with local scca auto cross events;
I'm pleased to hear that there are several Modern Mopar folks interested in autocross! The Utah Region SCCA welcomes every make & model to come out and kill some cones!
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "register as a group," but I'll offer some suggestions and you can tell me if they are what you were hoping for.
There are no "group rates" for people to register for events, as far as I know. Every entry fee covers one person. However, 1 car can be used by several people to compete. That's typically called co-driving, where two people drive the same car in an event, taking turns. Each driver has a different number for timing/scoring.
Also, there is the UR SCCA forums that is kept up to date with event information, car classifications, and discussions about modifications and driving. Everyone interested in participating in URSCCA events is encouraged to join the forum so they can meet and learn from everyone else.

As far as registering for the event this weekend, you can follow the links I posted in the autocross thread or go directly to Motorsport Reg's website and register for the event. You'll need to register for the site with a login and password your first time.
Check "yes" for "Rookie" (unless you've autocrossed before), check "Weekend Membership," and check "Regular Entry." When screen expands, select if you want to Saturday, Sunday, or both days. You can even register an under 18 driver, who can race, as long as an adult or guardian shows up to sign the waiver for them and they have a valid driver's license. In fact, if your child has their learner's permit, they can race too!
You'll have to enter your car, class, and number in once you choose which events you want to race, but don't worry about choosing the right class because the people at registration can help you with that the morning of the event.
Click that you've read the terms & conditions and press the "Preview Order" button. On the next page, enter the discount code "NEWB" to get $15 off if you've never autocrossed before. This waive's the Weekend Membership fee for your first event (even if you registered to race both days).
As far as your first race, show up between 7:30-8:00 am. Registration goes later, but showing up early will make sure you don't miss it and that you'll meet plenty of people that will be more than willing to help you out. For the MMP event, first go to the ticket building and go into the conference room across from the ticket area. There, a group of people, one of them with a laptop, will greet you, get you to sign the waiver, and help you with classing your car and get you your temporary numbers (Pro tip - Bring cash for your temporary numbers. They cost $1 per car). You can also register on-site, but that costs a little more, which is why pre-registration is recommended (Bring cash for that as well).
Once you're registered, they'll tell you who to look for and what to do the rest of the day. Don't be afraid to ask any questions of anybody, and be open to learn from the more experienced drivers (you'll be able to spot a few of them pretty easy).
As for what to bring, you don't HAVE to bring anything, but some water and snacks are a good idea, clothes appropriate for the weather expected in Tooele (wind is pretty common), sunscreen, and comfortable shoes to run around in. No open-toed shoes (sandals or crocs) are allowed on course.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me them. I'll try my best to answer any that you have. I'm going to try to make it out to the Sunday event, but won't likely be racing. I hope to see you and as many Mopars as possible at each event during the summer!
