They were actually already off since these are my summer wheels and I'm preparing to swap out my winter tires, had hoped to have this done several weeks ago. It can be done while they're still on the vehicle but this definitely makes it easier. Here's an example: |

I obviously love the flat black look. But, I am curious to see its dependability. I'd assume like everything else, proper preparation makes the difference.

That was my first thought, reading about others experience with them and it actually sounds pretty durable though. The good news is the rims are nicely protected while it's on and if I change my mind it peels off easily enough.
