So i was curious before i install the pioneer dvd head unit, do I need a special wire harness with the interface in it or does the ones off ebay with just wires work to install? i have a 07 300c srt-8

Sweet! I just realized the same wire harness that is on the dvd screen when it was in my old 08 ram is this one. No re wiring and only gotta buy a dash kit now! ;D

Way late post, but if you or anyone need parts or help/info installing anything let me know. We stock majority anything needed harnesses, dash kits, cables, etc so I can get or let u know exactly what u need!
Glad u could re-use the harness n save a buck cuz they aren't cheap!! Bet it turned out great and looks good!

Bet it turned out great and looks good! And I need something that I can plug my phone into and play my stuff. I don't mind if I lose satellite radio. I'm done paying for that crap. My stock head unit says RDS if that helps and I have the rear DVD thing. It would be nice to have this thing charge the phone, but not required. I've read about a few units but just not sure about the best for what I want/need. I have the steering wheel controls and it would be neat to be able to use them, but I'm fine using the phone controls. I think this thread was hijacked. Lol |

Let me know that info and I'll check what will work n let ya know! 2007 300c srt8 with the sat button. It comes with the rear DVD entertainment too (vds?). Some places ask about letters on the head unit and mine has RDS on it. I do have the steering wheel radio controls. |
