I want to do this! I didn't know they had kits for it. I didn't want to be a poser and pretend I have Brembos. Actually I do. So I think I will, it's a lot cheaper that way!

I agree, great stuff for the price. Mine has been on since 07 and I gotta couple little chips in it. I need to touch it up some day, probably save it for a winter mod. Maybe have Frank come over and do mine since I just can't quite understand his write-up.  Its all in the prep work. I've seen guys try it and it flakes off a couple months later. Its amazing what following the directions will do though... years of durability. I need to do something with the Magnum calipers real bad... nice big 22's and ugly arse oem grey calipers. Yuk... I did the ones on my 240SX at the body shop. Took them off, disassembled them, painted them with the same color code as the 240, baked them and then reassembled them... To this day they look exactly like the day they were done and I did that back in 1999. The kid who owns the car was curious as to what I used to do it... acid etching primer and automotive paint with about 3 coats of clear. I don't recommend it.... my car was on blocks for about 2 days because I was lazy and took my sweet time putting crap back together.  Frank, great job on yours. Wanna come do mine? ;D |
