Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that my local 2012 Rods and Rails is coming up on the 30th. Anyone and everyone is more than welcome! Our show will be in the vicinity of 100 entries this year with some hobby divisions, live music, food, drinks, and so on. Entrants get to eat free as well. Sorry, we were planning on the event but the charger is not ready for a long road trip. Still dealing with the rubbing issues and chunks of tire coming off. No funds to have it put on a trailer.

Kelly, we would love to have the beast! Maybe next year. This year I'm on the committee again but next year am slated to be Chair so... I'm going to try and pick a date where there's less conflict. As for distance, if you are downtown SLC its about 180 +/- miles. I make the trip in about 2.5 hours and do it a lot.... hence my car gets new windshields and paint like it gets tires. And Dave... yeah, you love me like you love gerbils!!! HA! Just playin, I'll definitely be stopping by my next trip to Justin's house there by Hill AFB. Chris... we know you don't show, and if we get it our way we are pushing for a straight track. Our fairgrounds has the real estate, but they are fighting the tax ballot. If it gets on there, we'll have a paved short track oval next to our dirt, and at least an 1/8 mile track. I don't remember if the layout showed 1/4 or not?  If we get it, many of you all will have to make the trip as we can easily coordinate a Mopar VS GM day around here. Besides, my house is across the road and I have plenty or real estate to bbq :-) Now I don't feel so ignored! I almost thought I must have smelled funny or something...  Oh, and my Maggie is undergoing some more mods as we speak. Two weeks from now, she'll be a different lady  . I'll post pics when ready. |
