So, took the advice of Chris Brown. THE CHRIS BROWN!!! Yes... the Chris Brown. (Like he's never heard that before....) Anyway, RUKse had my headers last week and I got them back today. They had a bad batch of coating but worked though everything. In fact, they turned out freaking awesome!!! There is a couple of stress fractures in the collectors that I'm going to have my brother in law hit with his TIG... to bad I didn't notice them before the recoat eh? Anyway, they offered to do a coating touch up and help cover some costs since I traveled to them. Not sure that I'll need it, but we'll see what comes of the weld repair. Dave and the crew at RUKse are top notch, for sure! Thanks guys! Nom nom nom nom nom....

Just installed some shorty headers like these on a 2009 Ram 1500 on Monday, definitely gave it a little more of a throaty sound!
Hope you get the same, if not better results!

Did they run it on the Dyno to see how it opened up? If so, how about numbers and what other mods did the truck have? From what I've seen on the other forums, the headers make for an amazing but yet simple mod on the Hemi. The only engine I've learned has as much gain is the LS series from GM. I'll be back when they get installed, I want to see what headers and mid pipes do to the Magnum. I'm sure I'll need a retune.

Nope, no tune or dyno run on the truck. Just bolt on and go.
Pretty sure he was just looking for a little better sound.

That's a darn expensive option for just sound .... Headers give great horse power gains, I'd be curious to see what his ECU thinks of just driving off with a set. Did he keep his cats so he at least had back pressure to not foul out the O2 sensors? The diablo dissables the second in line sensor or you can install a "hot" sensor... Sounds like this guy and I have something in common, and thats just doing **** on a whim.
