I went down to LHM benz in lindon and they let me drive a c63. HOLY AWESOME!!!! that car was fast in ways an srt8 (stock) can't touch. It was absolutely ridiculously fast and the torque was at it's peak very low (at least it felt that way). But all the sales people liked to oogle at the challenger.  I bet it was a beast to drive, but I would say thats comparing Apples to Oranges. I would expect the AMG line up to be wicked, hell for that price, nothing half the cost should beat me... Put the twin turbo STS challenger up to it, and I would put my money on the Challenger, and I believe with the mods, has more money left over. Dont get me wrong, I would take any AMG in a heartbeat if I was crazy loaded, but since I am far from that. I am stayin in my afffordable price range. I am surprised they let ya test drive it being such a young person, not that I am much older. If I went to the lot, they would probably hand me a bucket of water & soap to get washing cars, as a lot tech which is a cool summer gig by te way. |

Well I went with my dad and he had his XLR there and he drove it first. Then I asked the salesman if I could drive it and he said if I could handle a musclecar, I could probably handle that car. So he let me drive it. It was a blast though. I know I could have more horsepower and speed for a lot less money than that car was worth. However, for a joyride and him letting me lose the back end a little it was great fun. I've been a lot tech for dealers before and it's not bad. Tried the benz/bmw/jag dealers and they said I had to be 18 with experience to work there.

The M5 was the only sedan faster than the Charger SRT8 that was compared, but if you spent as much money on the M5 as you would on the SRT, the SRT would definitely blow the M5 out of the water. So, I think it's cool that the only sedan that had to beat our SRTs was in a different class.

It really shows the value of these cars for sure. And the fact that a new 5.7 with a few mods can create as much (maybe more) HP than the 6.1 for a lot less money is even more truly awesome. (not to bash the SRT's) These cars are awesome for the money and awesome regardless of the money

I like the srt's. A lot actually. But I like my (to be in the hopefully near future) supercharged 5.7 a bit more |

maybe the end of the summer before I go on my mission. If not I'll have it installed a few weeks before I get back so I can drive it then and my family doesn't mess with the supercharged version of it thanks mikey, my goal is to have 600hp and that'll get me there |

ahaha, thanks. I'm thinking of going with either the vortech or the new SMS one. I really like the twin screw setup like techo but I've heard the sms is a lot better system in terms of the intercooler and such so we'll see. Ben, you gotta hit up techo for a promotional deal or something and get one on yours
