Barry good luck with getting transmission fixed, I didnt know there was anything wrong with it, hopefully its an easy and inexpensive fix.
Dereck, mids 14s is doable, we are both trying to drop 3 tenths of a second.
Should we get a list going? Also admins, do we want to send a mass email out reminding everyone of the cruise, end of season midnight racing bash and carshows?

Tony and I, along with Steve who purchased my 20" inch drag radials. I would allow you to try mine, but my setup won't fit anyone's care because my 10" rims would hit your sway bar. You can remove your sway bar, which is too much work for one day of racing, the other options is too shorten your end links by 2 inches which is what I did, which was a better solution long term.
Dereck, what is your 60' time? My best with the 20" inch drag radials was 2.03, my best with the 17" drag radials is 1.91. After seeing Tony's 1.7, I got to give his slick a run at it. So what I am getting at, switching drag would probably help but might not net you the result you are looking for.

My typical 60 foot is 2.4, I hit 2.38 once. I just want to get as low of a time as possible, if by not much you mean it will get me a tenth or two then its worth it. I just want to hit my best possible time for the season end

I just want to hit my best possible time for the season end When you leave the line are you just punching it from idle, or loading up the converter? You should be able to cut much better than 2.4 with street tires. This is where practice comes in. Any pre stage burnouts, to clean your tires?

This just got more exciting!! Dont know if anyone has ever seen Pinks" on speed tv, this is very similar to there quick 16 shoot out, minus less money and prizes but there is $1400 in payouts. They are going to look for the closet 16 ETs to determine which cars are going to run. With this news, we will get alot of probably get alot of the super summit series guys racing. Hopefully they choose high 12s-low 13s as the ETs. ;D Most of the midnights I have attended, wheither watching or racing, there is a whole lot of 15s+ second cars, In fact I would say the make up 65-70% of the cars there.
