It was a cold night, too cold if you ask me especially when you are waiting in line for 350 cars to run, yep that's right 350. I was way off my goal of 12.9, the track prep VHT was being eating off by all the street tires and the track was cold (temp was 44 degree) and DA was 4400.
First run of the night was my best run of 13.3 @104 against a 12.5 Buick GN. 2nd run 3 hours later was 13.8 @102 against a 17 second Pontiac GT, final run another 13.8 against a 13.4 Evo.
I dropped my tire PSI to 8, and it was diminishing return as I got slower and felt like I was on glass going down the track

Only members that got personal best was Justin in his SRT8 Jeep with a 13.4. Still shaking my head, on how you get the Jeep to perform that well with the mods you have. Congrats to you.
Harrison also joined the 14 second club, Congrats.
Tony and Dewayne didn't fair as well but I will let them tell you. Dewayne I watched one of your runs, you got to get slicks, your car makes too much power for them street tires, You couldn't get traction to save your life the whole way down the track.
James (drkspot) and his Challenger R/T did very well on his first RMR outing with a sub 15 second run and I imagine we will be seeing him at our club race nights next year, and his wife has already given him the green light to mod the Challenger up.
Barry B seen better times, as he got one run in at 14.4. Barry they chose your T class of 14.3-14.7. had you stuck around, you would have made an easy $25.
Sean (fresh) was a little of his goal of 16.9, but no doubt he will get it come April next opening season.
Dereck got some runs in but I dont believe he reached his goal o 14.5. Correct me if I am wrong, I just saw 2 runs of yours.
Mike(ratrodtaylor) & Koob was there, not sure what times they ran or if they got new personal best but it was good to see them at the track.
Richard (professional racer) as he made money in the quick 16.
The ET class was 14.3-14.7. Barry that was you. So of the 16 cars, only 9 stuck around for the heads up, Richard got a bye, earning him $75 and automatic bid to next round.
Sean's SRT8 Magnum was there. New owner Wayne, super cool guy. Told him bout the club, hope he joins. I believe he was running 14.5 but he has big thing in store for her this coming summer.
Met Cody (Jerren's Buddy) with the Red SRT8 Charger in parking lot. Invited him Cody to join the club, hopefully he does.
Met some cool guys both name Abdul, both of them own very clean 300 SRT8, one silver and other black, hope they join up as well. Their room mates have Charger SRT8 and Jeep SRT8, I bet that is one awesome looking driveway.
Fastest LX of the night belonged to Josh in his SRT8 Charger with 125 shot of Nitrous, I believe he got a personal best at 12.6. Invited Josh and his buddy Gary with a Black SRT8 Charger to join the up with us, both into racing and have plans for very similar monster builds that involved Hellion Twin Turbo set ups on fully built bottom ends.
In all had a great time hanging out with the funny Mazda guys and my fellow LX club members. Congrats to those that got their Personal Best and for the rest of us, there is always next year.
Not sure if most stuck around towards the end but Mikey, Tony, Allan and I watched a 9 sec (145 mph) get speed wobble and hit the wall, good news is he got up on his own, bad news is the bike is probably done for, crazy part is it still crossed the line at 15.0 seconds at 36 MPH which was faster then most cars there and that is without a driving sliding on its side.
