So I want a new exhaust. Would like some opinions on a borla cat back single tip exhaust

So I want a new exhaust. Would like some opinions on a borla cat back single tip exhaust You're in a V6 right? If I'm mistaken then the Borla would be a really good system. If you are in a V6 then your probably looking to get the Hemi or V8 sound, but it's sadly just not possible to do it while missing two cylinders. Putting an exhaust on your car will still help with some additional power, but you'll have to look around online until you find a system that sounds good in your opinion. |

Ya it's a v6. I want something that's going to have a nice sound and let the car breath a little.

I'm no "professional" but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night... ;D
Borla's are a great system. Pretty spend though. I'm sure there's videos out there where you can make a decision but the sound quality is never the same. I know stonecold put a dual exhaust on his sxt and it sounds good.

I heard a dynomax set up that sounded about the same as the borla. I want to dual my exhaust. The borla is about 1500 from factory. I think my biggest concern is the breath ability. I plan to get my car tuned after the exhaust so I wanna make sure I'm headed the right direction

Head's up, as a fellow v6 300 owner keep in mind that you'll need to get a new rear bumper if you're going to go dual. Straight from the factory our exhaust pipe is tucked behind the bumper. With an after market dual setup the tips come out straight. Our bumpers dont accommodate that. The v8s have notches for their exhausts. |

A couple places that I have checked come with the stuff for cut outs. Would that be a bad idea?

Definitely wouldn't sound good, and the power benefit from it would be slim to none. I'm speaking from experience back when I owned my Ram 1500 with the 3.7L V6, I put a Magnaflow muffler on it and regretted it every day after that. You don't get sound anywhere close to what a V8 sounds, and to me personally, it gets more annoying every day. |

Before I bought my Hemi I only had the V6 charger. I too wanted a mean sounding exhaust and all tho I never put anything on because I bought the other one, what I was leaning towards was glasspacks.... here's why.

I will have to check the glass packs out. I will check out that link after work. I think I've leaned toward the borla exhaust because I've heard a few of the members talkin about theirs and their car sounds great but as Harrison has pointed out I am only in a v6
