I have some weird knocking sound in my motor on a 2006 2.7 Magnum. Does anyone know a good cheap place that i could get it check out. It kind of sounds like a lifter. It sucks i don't know what it is i am a little worried about it.

If you brought it down to my work we could probably take a look at it for $40 diagnosis fee, then we could go from there.
When did you have your last oil change done? From what I've seen these are really prone to timing chain type noises with thinner oil, and with the colder weather it's probably amplified that.

I changed my oil last month got about 300 miles into it. I did have my check engine light come on and it was a cam shaft sensor and i changed that out. On my last oil change i tried to thicken it up with lucus oil that was what the guys done a dodge told me to try. and that didn't work. So that is great i will have to try and get down to your shop next week

Hopefully its not the dreaded 2.7 sludge issue! That's the biggest reason I got my parents to trade in our intrepid and buy my moms 300 (among other reasons lol) good luck my friend hope its something simple!

If your able to drop it off and leave it then you could stop by any time, that would be best for us and we'd be able to get the best diagnosis for you.
But if it's something you'd have to wait for, I'd recommend calling us and setting up an appointment. Just speak with Robert or Brock.
