Duro has been around a long time in the world of off road tires for ATV's and other small vehicles. I've used some of their stuff dealing with that and had absolutely no problems with them. I actually used a set of their radials on an older Oldsmobile I once had. I'm not familiar with their newer product line, but for the price they shouldn't be a bad product. What price and where are they comming from?
The only suggestion I have, is use an SUV load rated tire on our big cars. I currently run the Nexen Roadian HP on my Magnum and it has lasted twice what any Good Year I've put on her has. My last set of the RS-A tires lasted a whopping 8k miles.
With the Nexen, during the summer, the compound is softer, quieter, and handles quite well. Winter time, it does get a little stiffer and affects handling on ice a bit. But then any of these tires that are not compound specific for winter will suffer the same to varying degree.
Go onto the nationals forum and see if anyone on there has ran Duro Tires, you might find more vehicle specific comments there.
