I am looking to put a new cam in my 6.1 and im trying to do some research form those who have swapped them out, Im not wanting to get to crazy with the engine no tc or sc, when i do the cam i will have a intake t-stat programmer, exhaust, and 125 shot of nitrous. So any help you can lend would be greatly appreciated

The only person I know off the top of my head to open one of these engines up would be Tony (ponch79 on here)
I work at Premier Performance in Salt Lake, so I've done a few builds on these engines.
If I was to make a suggestion the Arrington ST-3A would probably be a good cam for stock heads and the shot of nitrous you were looking to do.

Any luck with your cam ? My personal experience with these engines is that they can take alot more beating than what most people wanna throw at them. With that said at least find a big cam and change the rods and springs to add a little sense of security. If your bro owns a performance shop I would say GO BIG cuz then you can keep cracking that engine open to check on it. Also would suggest a crower timing kit they come real handy

Which Cam are you leaning towards? I just order my cam, but they sent the wrong one but the correct one should be here hopefully by next weekend.

Me and my brother have been trying to figure out what one would go best with a nitrous kit, he doesnt have much experience with these motors, mostly mustangs and diesels around here, what one did you go with chris?

Seth Its a comp cam specfically for HHP, not sure if my cam is the best one for Nitrous but give Josh call. No spec information, as duration, etc, as they dont share that information other then the lift. Good luck and keep us posted. Sounds like you will have a bad arse weekend track warrior. www.highhorseperformance.com/category_s/1550.htm

I just ordered a HHP Stage 1 Rumbler. Of course, many of you are probably wondering why I chimed in on a 6.1 hemi thread... guess you'll just have to wait and see now won't you :-)

I know, can't wait to see it completed. What's the specs on cam? Keep us posted of progress and come hit the track this year with your new set up. I personally going to try to hit Las Vegas again and Idaho best of Detroit night end of sept.
