so i have a few pictures. wanted share what my car looked like when i bought it and how it looks as of today. i am super happy with the transformation. i can't wait to do more day i got her first mod. removed trim put the stock wheels on. so i could get new tires and powered coat the other wheels. o and tinted the windows the way she looked after wheels on again and being powered coated way she looks now after new paint on the front, new lights, new fogs, and being lowered. o and some power of course first dyno and last

X2^^^, It was great talking with you at Friday midnights. it was good seeing you sir. your car sure moves. get some taller slicks and there is no reason that you will not be running in the 12s every pass. thanks everyone else. i love hearing comments about my car. i build for myself but that doesn't mean i don't want others drooling over it ;D

Funny you should mention that, those Drag Radials are sold(more like given away) to Brett with the Red GTO. After much research between the Hoosier Slicks and Mickey Thompson E/T Street Slicks. I am going to be purchasing E/T Street Slicks shortly. I wanted the hoosier but I dont think my lil ole 300 makes enough Wheel Power to turn them, and there have been many reports of folks losing 4-5MPH on the top end. If I had SuperCharger or Turbos or even nitrous, I would have went hoosier slicks as they are really sticky but hard to turn with a car not making 550+ at wheels. So I will try the E/T Slicks for now but who knows, I maybe selling those shortly too. But back to program on how nice your Magnum is transforming into one bad ass ride.

But back to program on how nice your Magnum is transforming into one bad ass ride. yes the you will lose mph with slicks due to the short times on the track getting better. no matter what you due the slick is the best thing for you. i watched you launch your car and you still are spinning the tire. the one pass i watched i am guessing you had a 2.0 or 2.1 60 ft. with a slick you should be able to drop that to a 1.9 easy and even better if you choose to drive your car out of the hole. with that you lose tire spin which will help your car with a faster track time but your mph will drop. so question i am looking at rear end kits for my car. the next thing i will do is a gear set. you are running 373 right? what rpm are you at for freeway cruising?

Yes, I'm running 3.73 gears, and it would be like you driving yours on the freeway in 4th gear to give you a better understanding of what rpms you will be turning on the freeway. It's about 500 higher rpms then my 3.06 gears, but it sure is fun to whip around town in.
