Has anyone determined that a specific brand of gasoline performs better in their HEMI?

I was using the truck stop out by RMR where I park my Pete, it was one of the last places in the valley that didn't have ethanol in the premium, but it will be closed as of the 1st.
Tesoro has their own plant in NSL also Flying J and Pilot have one in Woods Cross.
If you see a station that is getting a delivery and the truck says PCT (Petro Chemical Transport) keep going they buy all the cheapest gas from all the refineries and sell it to independents like sevie and Costco
Holiday buys from either Sinclair, ( Which is my personal choice) or Chevron (2nd) who has the best fuel, again my opinion, I think Maverick buys there also.
But I will have to start using ethanol conditioner after my truck stop closes So, I guess I would say Holiday.
Final answer Skip...

I strictly use Chevron or Texaco as both use techron. I read a lengthy article years ago about techron and its cleaning properties etc. Fuels with techron from Chevron and Texaco were some of the first fuels rated as "top tier detergent gasolines" that agreeably resulted in better performance in performance engines by bmw, audi, chevrolet and some others I can't remember. So as I stated a always use those 2 but that's just from what I've read and also have never had any bad experiences with fuel related issues so it seems good to me!

Tony's probably runnin confiscated moonshine in the tank (insert dixie horn sequence and enthusiastic "yeeeee-hawwww") you can usually get avgas 100ll (low lead aviation fuel) at smaller airport's fairly easily. We can get it at tooele and use to run it in our racebikes! Had gsxr ram air that simply screamed on the stuff with a little tuning! Unfortunately like stated even though it's "low lead) it still has lead in it which is no buenos in emissions vehicles! Older vehicles love the stuff though, especially higher compression engines and it lubricates valves really well and smells good too lol! But our engines wouldn't benefit at all compression isn't high enough to allow it.

Hmmm I like the 100 octane out here in Ogden. Where are you getting 100 octane?! It would be a waste of money unless you have a high compression ratio engine, Im talking 11.5+ CR.

Jake, for one, the Triple Stop in Roy at 4795 South 3500 West sells Sunoco 100, no lead and no ethanol. Expensive though and like srt801 said, probably not worth it.
PLEASE, back on topic.

I had an ex who's father was an exec (senior vp of something) for one of the oil/gas companies mentioned here. His daughter brought this up at the dinner table one night. He laughed, said they all buy from each other, its all mixed, its all the same. Only difference is the marketing.
Now I cant speak to the truth of his statement, but thats coming from the horses mouth

I have alway's used Sinclair gas for the past 20 years. I am a true believer on sticking with one gas company for my cars. If I was about out of gas with no Sinclair around, my second choice would be Chevron. It all comes down to your personal favorite. Just sick with it, and see the results. I would recommend not changing different brands of gas stations unless you feel the gas you are going with is not giving the results you are looking to get.
