Hey guys (and gals) check this out.
The new Transformer Movie is being released next week end. The theater where my wife manages at has arranged with Ben for him to bring his car up for the Syracuse Heritage Day Parade and have it on display in front of the theater all day Saturday 6/27. To pass the time Ben will be hanging out at my house until he can pick his car back up later that night.
Here's my thought. We've been talking about a Bar-B-Q so I'm inviting who ever would like to drive up to Syracuse to a Bar-B-Q at my house. I would provide the hot dogs and hamburgers, if you want to any else feel free to bring it and we can put it on the grill. Then if there is enough interest, we can go see the new movie as a group (of course the only one that would be getting in free would be Ben, every one else would have to pay their own way).
I know it's very short notice, but just a thought. I figured since Ben would already be here what's a few more?

Hey Russ, Thanks for the invite, I would be game to come up to Syracuse for a BBQ ( I mean hang out with fellow SLCLXers ;D) Sounds like fun. Let me know if ya want me to bring anything up to help keep your cost down. I know ya aren't a drinker and I can respect that so I will bring a 12 pk of ginger ale ( no caffeine ;D) Let me know, I could bring a huge watermelon too and some condiments... What time were ya thinking? and Congrats once again Ben for having the 2nd coolest ride in the group  and getting all these perks and benefits. |

Thanks for the offer to help Chris. Let's wait and see how many people plan on coming up. If it get's too big I might take you up on your offer. Maybe have everyone bring something. I'll just need to get a head count. I'm ok with people bringing up their kids as well. I've got a nice size back yard so there is plenty of room for them to run around.
As far as the time I'd like to get some feed back from everyone else to see what works for them. We can do a lunch thing or dinner. Again what ever works best.

My wife and I are game. I just have to get a babysitter for my kids (Grandma owes me. LOL).
My wife Trudy wants to met all the people who are corrupting me for all the latest mods I have gotten. LOL
I told her she is part of the family now that I have joined.

And don't forget about the M&G on the 25! That's 4 days in a row. I know it makes for a busy week end. Just for who ever feels like coming. |

I am down for a "maybe" only cuz I have family that will be here for my brother-in-laws wedding on the 25th. We may need to escape for awhile and if we make it, we would be good for the movie as well.
I should know the plans by the 25th and give a "yes" or "no" by then. Regardless, thanks for the invite Russ!
