I got pulled over for my tinted tail lights by UHP last night. I thought it was kinda weird when there was a cop at every exit from Salt Lake to Provo. They were waiting for my black charger with red stripes to exit to highway. It's a fix-it ticket, so if anyone has a set of tail lights that I could borrow, that would be great. The UHP officer said,"I could also cite you for your windows being tinted too dark, your headlights being tinted, the red license plate light, the loud exhaust that I'm guessing is probably Flowmasters right? But this is one bad a$$ car and I'll just write you down for just the tail light because that is what one of the officers called in." Apparently, it was the Sheriff that saw me past him in Salt Lake and he just called it in to the UHP to have me taken care of and if I was speeding to get me for that too. But I wasn't speeding at all that night.

They were having a DUI blitz last night. That is why there were so many of them. Sounds like a night to pick on our cars. Glad no one got a ticket.

By the way We loved the VIP treatment at the movie theather, Staff was wonderful. Tell your wife thanks again, really appreciated everything.

Also, thanks Shawn for letting me borrow your lights. I almost posted them on ebay. I just hadn't got around to it.  My wife and I have been talking about doing a club BBQ before the summer is up, but I have a project to get done first that I promised my kids. Hopefully soon. ;D |

Glad everyone had a good time. I'm sure Ben got tired to talking to me by the time the Bar-B-Q started. We'll have to do that again, it was a lot of fun. However next time we get to leave all the extra food at someone else house. You should have seen all the dirty looks I was getting holding the seats while you guys were coming in.   I had two high lights during Saturday. To my surprise the General Manager of the theater had me drive beside Ben down the parade. That was a blast. We should enter a parade as a group. Ben and I kept revving up our engines down the whole route (of course Ben drowned me out most the time - but I'll have that fixed by next time). I got tired of people yelling "Do a burn out", so I did, more than once. The best one was the one I did right in front of the cop! ;D Then when we were getting the cars set up at the theater, the local dealership dropped of the Camero SS and handed the keys to my wife. After some begging Ben & I took it for a little test drive. Ben's got some video. |
