I just dropped off my car to get the shaker painted this morning. I dropped it off at Collision Centerz in Ogden and will be picking it up tomorrow. I am getting the trim ring, under hood base plate, and CAI cover painted brilliant black. The shaker is gonna be a semi-gloss black so it stands out a lil' more.
I also ordered the 69 grill with slat inserts from Danko. It should be here in a couple weeks. I will get that painted to match the shaker and looking forward to it. If anyone is interested in my cross hairs and honeycomb let me know. The cross hair is in excellent condition. I had the clear bra and was my first mod so it has been protected well. I plan on putting them of the 4 sale section after I get the 69 style grill installed.
I will post some pics as soon as I get her home!

You'll have swing by and let us see it! I may do that since we are practically neighbors. I need to make a drive by my house anyway to see if the old owner has the renovations completed. BTW, I still don't have the car yet. Supposed to be tomorrow now... They wanted to make sure that the epoxy sealant was dry before painting to eliminate possible cracking. This waiting makes me feel like a kid before Christmas. ;D

I picked up the car today right before they closed. I understand why they said it wouldn't be ready until then...
Collision Centerz did a pretty crappy job on some parts of the paint job. The trim ring has a bad run in it and other minor flaws. They did a good job under the hood though. The worse part is the cover for the CAI. They put the hood down when the paint was still tacky and it rubbed on the hood insulator because it wasn't lowered enough. Now I have hood insulation stuck to the CAI cover! They said they would fix it but I am sorta pressed for time now. My brother-in-law is getting married tomorrow so I will see if they can do it on Friday. I am pretty upset over all.
Oh, I forgot to mention... A bird bombed my spoiler with a pretty big splat. My father-in-law takes a glass of water and his fingernail to scrap it off! I can't fault the guy, he was only trying to help but it looks like he used sandpaper on it. I wish he would've told me or just let me take care of it. Who knows what that bird was eating but it had to have had sand or gravel in it... I used everything I have to try and fix it. It looks a lil' better but it is still noticeable.
Anybody have any suggestions for me, I would appreciate it! I feel like I got punched in the gut. All of this before the LHM car show...
