For those that came 4 years ago for my friend Brett's 5k fundraiser to help raise money for his cancer treatment, we are doing another 5k this year in his memory and raising the money for local children going through cancer. I would love to have as many club members that could come do the 5k or at least show off some cool lighting during the 5k and concert. Here's some info about this event. When it gets closer to the event, I'll figure out how many parking spots we'll need to rope off. Thanks everybody.

This year's annual 5k will again be an amazing community event, sponsored principally by the Shops at Riverwoods!
What is so exciting?
#1- Every dollar you donate contributes to a week of overwhelming joy for 75 local children whose parents have cancer.
#2- You are participating in a grassroots movement (directed completely by college students) to support cancer patients, survivors, and their families!
#3- You get to run, at dusk, with glow sticks, and who doesn't love glow sticks?
#4- Before the run you will be treated to live music by a world famous local band.
#5- You will have changed the world with just a few dollars and a few hours by helping Camp Kesem bring 75 local children together for a summer of inspiration!
#6- You can write on our wall more reasons to be excited!
