I will be racing at firebird in Boise that day. Somebody post good video or photo for me. You can still do both. Racing starts Sunday morning. If its a short trip like dugway was I'll cruise along, if it's a longer cruise like bear lake, I'll meet up for breakfast and socializing, maybe break off early from cruise and get ready for he 5 hr journey to firebird. Gordon, did ya check to make sure this doesn't fall on the same weekend as the cars for life carshows? I know many members were torn on the two events being the same day. Also we lost many to byu/ utes football home games too. I know it's impossible to schedule event that works for everyone but just some food for thought. |

Football happens every weekend during the season the mopar end cruise only happens once a year... I'll be there for sure I don't care what I gotta do :-)

Count me in. Last year was so fun. It was so impressive to see all the rides, and the beautifull fall colors as well. If anyone is on the fence with this event, make sure you attend this one. It is a great meet and greet.

Hope ya can make both but if ya can't come out to the meet greet. Both should be a great turnout and fun time. Track day is going to be hot and heat soak is going to be robbing power from everyone. I drove my car first time since I got back from Boston Saturday and I swear it felt like I had 100 less ponies then compared to a cooler night. I'm not expecting any personal best July 12 haha but should be fun none the less. |

I am all for Bear Lake, that way, those of us that are planning on heading to Boise Firebird Raceway the following day can break off and just head west of Logan.

If we're talking Bear Lake this year (and it sounds great to me! ) i suggest this route!
Brigham City - Logan - Bear Lake
Follow US 89-91 from Brigham City north to Logan via Sardine Canyon (25 miles). Continue northeast from Logan on US 89 to Bear Lake through Logan Canyon (now a National Scenic Byway) and the Wasatch-Cache National Forest (40 miles). So of we're interested in this direction we need a Pre-Runner closer to that area to scope things out and lay out a map and battle plan for picture and lunch stops and make sure we're not going to do any unexpected off-roading or mudding or detours, construction etc. I hate to nominate people without thier consent but Gordon has done such a fantastic job setting these up the last few years I again would like to ask him for his help on that!
