The only thing that bothers me about Bear Lake is the altitude on the older cars.

The only thing that bothers me about Bear Lake is the altitude on the older cars. We'll just have to make a Pitstop about halfway up and make a slight carb and timing adjustment! Sent from my SGH-T889 using proboards

The cruise is dated for Saturday September 28th 9:30am at Prime Sandwiches in Bluffdale. We still haven't decided the route as of late but to keep up on all activities the Club is involved in make sure your not just using this forum but also join our Facebook page as this is a scheduled event!

OK, here's the official route for this year! Sorry for the delay in getting this up! But we are a go!
Prime Sandwiches is going to open up for breakfast for us at 8:30am and will also provide bathroom facilities. They said that they can cook up just about anything you want. So we'll start gathering there at 8:30am and plan on leaving at 9:30am. There is room for about 35 to 40 cars in the front of Prime Sandwiches, but the parking lot there building is in can hold over 100. Prime Sandwiches is located at 14587 S. 790 w, Bldg C, Bluffdale, UT 84065. Take the 14600 S exit in Bluffdale and take it west. If groups want to organize mini cruises from the various outlining areas into Prime Sandwiches I'll leave that up to you. I know there will be one organized down from the north.
When we leave Prime Sandwiches at 9:30am we head west to Redwood Road, turn south and head all the way down highway 68 past the west side of Utah Lake to Highway 6. At the junction of Hwy 68 & Hwy 6 there is a cool little Sinclair Station that is a great photo op. If there is anyone that has a camera that would be willing to set up and snap pics of all the cars as the stop in front of that station we could get all the cars photographed quickly and move on. After the Photo Op we will continue west on Hwy 6 through Eureka to Hwy 36. We'll head north on Hwy 36 through Vernon and then eventually into Tooele. We'll hit Tooele at lunch time. The cruise will pull into one of the large shopping centers there that has a lot of options for eating and stop for about an hour. After lunch we'll regroup in the same parking lot and continue out to the Miller Motor Sports Park as they are willing to provide us a spot to take the group picture.
From the Miller Motor Sports Park, the rest of the cruise will be up to you. One thing I though would be cool is to spend about an hour there and take a spin on their Go Carts. From what I've been told is they probably have the fastest go carts anywhere, able to reach speeds up to 50 mph! The cost is $16.00 for 12 to 15 minutes. They said that if we had 50 people or more we could rent the track for two hours for just us, at a cost of $22.50 per person. If people don't wish to drive the go carts then we can just leave after we take the group pic.

Hey Gordon I have a really good friend that works for the quality Dodge dealer out here and I can see if they can make a spot for us on the back lot for the meeting spot in tooele. Then also before the cruise starts I can tell everyone where to grab food out here is! How many cars this year are we thinking hopefully 50-75? Gonna break the record again?

I got with the Quality Dodge dealership and we are 100% approved for using there lot for the lunch regroup meeting spot. They're looking forward to having us, they're making a spot just for us and trent even mentioned possibly having bottled water and air fresheners for us! Sent from my SGH-T889 using proboards

Thanks Patrick! My son is the one that did the flier last year, just not sure we got any traction off of it. Kind of late for this year, but if you guys think it's worth the time let me know and I'll make sure we do one for next year.

We are 24 hrs away from Mopar Madness Cruise 2013. The pre-cruise car count is approaching the 50 car mark! Our all time record is 56 cars.
Look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning! It's going to be a great day!

I just hope we can kinda keep everyone in check this year! The front runners need to run the speed limit as much as possible and not let our fun affect our right foot! I know in the past its been near impossible to catch up if separated cause some groups are driving so fast! and we should try to stay in the second Lane from the right while were on the freeway as much as possible that'll give all other traffic room to go to either side and we won't have to move over at every exit. Wing really matter once we hit state Roads like going through Eureka, and into tooele as its all one Lane! This is gonna be another great one folks, hope to see a mad number of mopars tomorrow!
