So sorry for the questions but I have never in my life worked with it before. To be 100% honest I know nothing about it other then it makes cars go faster lol. So here's my deal, I have a 2013 Challenger RT stock except for a K&N intake and reso delete.
From what I have looked at they only sell "wet" N2O systems can I run a 75 or 100 shot safely on stock internals without blowing my motor to bits and pieces? All the kits I have looked at either come with or recommened colder range spark plugs, I can only assume because the nitrous is a colder gas so in order to ignite it properly you need colder range plugs?
Would a 75-100 shot even be worth the money time and effort to see noticable results and does it deteriorate engine life at all? Lastly is tuning required to nitrous? I can only imagine it is but worth asking since tuning is not out yet for 2013 hemi's.
Thanks!

Yes, it would require a tune as well as A/F gauge for safe measures. I would say Nitrous is the best bang for the buck as far as performance goes, with that said, I have thought about adding 100 shot to mine, as I have been advised it would drop a whole second of my currently time. But in my opinion, I think Nitrous is good for quick power added but long term, I would have to think its going to reduce your engine life, but that is just my opinion. I am no expert when it comes to Nitrous. Hopefully Tony, Harrison, Stephen or Gordon will chime in.

Thanks for the reply, on the Challenger forumz another guy told me that I could run a 75 safely with no tune but im not sure how I would feel about that...might just wait until tuning is out for the 13's but hopefully some others will chime in.

When I was looking into it early last year I went with a zex 100 shot and gained about 90hp on the dyno. Sadly, the "brain" of the system was a vegetable and only worked while hooked up to the dyno it seems. I never been able to make it work which is why I just went to a Vortech. Anyway, 100 shot on the 5.7 or 6.1 is fine. Get it tuned anyway and be safe about it. A/F gauge at the minimum I think it is. I'll post a picture of the spark plugs I use that were recommended to me. You can run a 75 shot on our cars safely with out a tune. I do it and plenty of others have on the national forums as well as in the club. I got an A/F gauge to be on the safe side. Its a cheap investment to make sure every thing is fine.

Also i'm good with a wrench but not wiring or electrical so would it be a good idea to have it installed by a professional? How hard was the A/F gauge to install?

Bottle heater and purge tubes are good to have. The heater keeps the pressure constant and the purge makes sure you have nitrous right at the solenoid when you spray. You only need the blowdown tube if you put the bottle in the cabin of the vehicle.
The A/F gauge wiring isn't hard but there's a part that needs to be welded into the exhaust if I remember right. I had all of my work done at premier where DartBoy works.

Did you have your nitrous installed there also?

I did. The only issue I had was the zex controller died shortly after I got the car back. I decided to go a different route with the car and sold all my nitrous stuff and a few other toys to pay for my Vortech.
