I know you the Stansbury Car Show is Saturday but I wanted you to know about a very special show tomorrow, August 16. Yes it's on a Friday. There are some beautiful cars in the LX group and it would be cool to see some of them there. Here is a copy of the post from the MOU site. You'll notice that MOU will have a banner up. I would encourage you to bring the LX banner. We would be happy to display that banner. After all most of us also drive LX, LY cars.
Please take advantage of this show. This is the nicest venue I have ever seen. There is plenty of shade and grass.
Instead of putting out their hand for money, Millcreek is "giving back" to the car show people.
* Free Entry!
* Free Hamburgers, Giant Hot Dogs, Potato and Macaroni Salad, Ice Cream Sundaes. This is not a cheap meal! The FREE meal is for all car show registrants and their family members.
* Free Entertainment
* Awards: Best of Show is a trophy nearly 7 feet tall. These are not cheap awards and they have one for the Best Mopar
* Raffle: $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.
* Free Outdoor Movie: American Graffiti
Millcreek has made up a banner for Mopars of Utah and we are the featured car club/group.
You can bring your car as early as 9 AM. You don't have to stay.
You can bring your car after work. Car registrants receive their FREE dinner from 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM.
6:00 PM is the published show time for the public.
The public is served, after we are served our dinner, at 6:15. They have enough food for 1,000 people.
Address and Directions:
Cotton wood Regional Ballpark
4300 S 1300 E
From I-15 I think the best way to get there is to take the 45th S Exit and go East. Go to 13th East. At the bottom of the little hill (swale) there are 4 entrances on the left if you are going North. Don't take them! Turn left on the 5th left which is near the top of the next hill. Go to the far west corner of the parking lot. In the corner there is a golf cart type asphalt path. Turn onto the path and follow it up to the top of the hill by the pavilion. The ballpark is on 13th E between 39th S and 45th S.
This may be the nicest car venue you have ever been to and it's FREE, FREE, FREE.
Please support us and bring your car: Race Car, Show car, Custom, Plain Jane and nice daily drivers."
