Well my wonderful SLCLX family this season is sadly coming to a close. The weather is on its way and many of us have already experienced snow! Many member are getting ready to park their rides for the winter, i sadly myself do not have that option and my baby has never seen a garage and has spent every winter out driving in the muck and salt! Having never seen the protection of a garage only makes me that much happier when people tell me how nice my "daily driver" is and it makes me proud!! So as this year comes to an end i just wanted to talk to everyone about the direction of the club! I've been speaking to Eddy about a few ideas and we agreed next year will be THE year of slclx!!!!! I encourage all of our fantastic members to think of some new ideas we can do as a club along with some of the normal activities we already do and do more often! One of the things i want to establish again is more frequent Meet N' Greets, i'm going to look around and try setting up bi-monthly meets, one up north and one more south saltlake so that all of our members have the option of 2 meets per month with at least one being a little closer to home! Also if the weathers good and you wanna get out for an evening throw a notice up on the forum and Facebook and say hey come and meet me at "wherever" for a burger and to chat because there is no better recruiting tool the half a dozen sweet rides backed into stalls at a sonic restaurant for a burger so get out there and be seen! Speaking of recruiting i'm going to hit this with full effort! i'm going to get some new cards made, vista print makes great cards and fairly cheap too! I think Eddy may have the graphic used on some of our last cards or we can come up with a whole new one! Go ahead and get some made if you'd like to on your own like many of us have had in the past or once i get to working i'll try and get a bunch made that i can give members a couple dozen to keep in their cars! Recruiting will be a big help for us this next year and keep in mind our name is just a name this club has become so much more. Yes our club being together attracts like vehicles so the base will always be LX but lets keep an open mind as nobody I've ever recruited ever asked what the name meant only what it consists of and that's Mopars but mostly the LX line! so get out there and grab those Chally's, Maggies, Chargers and 3 Hundy's but if you see a tricked out Caliber, Jeep, Viper, SRT or not if its Mopar and grabs your eye toss em a card!!! This club has always been great with coolest, kindest and most giving members with such a diverse bunch of personalities and even more diverse vehicles we cant go anywhere but up!!!!! 2014 will be THE year folks lets bring it BIG! I encourage all of our members to speak up and give us some ideas! Some of our members use the off season for big mods so if your one of these members and have a project coming up and would like some help or wouldn't mind someone just watching and chatting please speak up! Also if you have any concerns or problems with anything please feel free to drop a line to any of our Administration team, I might not get back to you immediately but i will get back to you with full attention!
