My car decided to be a pain in the butt today and I was wondering if you guys could help me pin point the problem. I think my clock spring has been going out you can hear it rattling around when I turn the wheel. Today I was at a stop sign and when I turned the wheel locked and the car died. It didnt want to start again but I got it going and it said oil required so I pulled over and checked it and the oil is full. It didnt have any codes and now its going fine. I am driving this to vegas on Friday so if you have any ideas please let me know. Thanks

Wow I'm not sure but that would scare the hell out of me if my wheel just locked! I know some other/older cars there is a spring that actuates a pin in the bottom the colum that locks the wheel when the key is in lock/off position. I also know tilt wheels on older cars would have ignition and wheel lock issues because after a while it would get out of adjustment but all you had to do was tilt the wheel up or down and that would usually free it up but that was on tilt colums that had tilt joint our whole colum moves up and down and in and out so it's probably different but might be worth a try putting it in slightly different position??? Im really not sure but it's worth a try! As far as the check oil at the same time kinda strange but if you checked out and it's Ok I wouldnt worry about that. The dang cars should practically drive themselves with as much communication the whole car does with itself so the occasional "ghost light" doesn't bother me much as long as I don't see it more then one or far between, I feel their allowed the occasional hiccup with all they do! I'll do some more research on the locked wheel for ya and hopefully we can find something! Good luck! Sorry I rambled on without any help!

Man, I'm really happy for you that you had a chance to visit Vegas. How were the casinos? And how much did you spend? I'm planning to visit it someday and I have no idea how much it might cost to stay there for a week or less? I think my desire to visit Vegas is caused by online gambling. But I was lucky enough to start with Netent Casino list and not with any scammers.
