Anyone going to the Mopars at the strip event in April 2014? I haven't heard anything yet but I do know that hotels are already being sold out.

Some of the best hotels are the smaller down from the track itself, last year we went our whole parking lot was filled with mopar muscle and we sat outside our room every night with people from our neighboring rooms drinking beer hearing syne really great stories! one neighbor drove down from British Columbia and the others were from Detroit! Cheap room's not a lot of frills but who cares you only need a place to lay your head at night you'll be out partying the rest of the time! And usually they have room discounts if you tell them your the for MATS! This year being the 50th anniversary of the "Hemi" I'm sure it'll be a fantastic event!

Thats awesome! I wanted to see who all was going from this group or anyone from the surrounding areas so that we can meet up the day before and take a nice cruise together! I haven't been yet but I am stoked for this year. I will most likely be staying in @ the NewYork NewYork hotel.

Between us, our sister Club mou and the surrounding areas there is always a great cruise every year, usually the biggest meet up point is at painter dodge in Lehi then in st. George etc. You'll pick up more and more cars at each stop and along the way, the cruise down is a very cool event in itself! I'm sure your post will grab me attention the closer it gets as with the weather etc. Everyone's kinda quiet this time of year, just keep bumping it. I'm sure more threads on whose attending & car counts etc will pop up from the veterans of this event like Gordon & Lee as well, I'm not going this year but it is a blast! I'm sure everyone will love to have ya go with them, the more the merrier!

I'll be going this year. As Pat said, you shouldn't have trouble finding rooms. The last several times we've gotten a hotel there are several around the air base that you shouldn't have trouble getting into, plus they are closer to the Speedway. I'm debating about taking my trailer down again this year and staying right in the pits.

There is quite a bit of us going down. Dwayne with the red srt8, Chris with the 300 srt8, as it gets closer I'll come back on and give more info.
