Well as far as the headers go, I'm a huge fan of headers for the RT. The stock one's are absolute CRAP, but they are a lot more expensive than a diablo. If you are looking for a different sound, at least delete the suitcase mufflers. They weigh a TON (ok like 30-45 lbs a piece but still thats almost .1 second off a 1/4 mile...) and with them removed the car sounds much better, Gordon's magnum is a testament to that.

What does "deleting" the suitcase mufflers consist of? Just dropping them out or replacing them or what?

Can't remember which engine you have. But here is the stock muffler on my 6.1, it looks like a suitcase. Then behind that, to either side of the rear of the car are the resonators (sorry something happened to the picture, but I think you'll get the idea). You can see the top of the resonator on one side. What I did was had the muffler shop straight pipe through were the factory stock muffler was. Then near the rear of the car they inserted the Flowmaster mufflers were the resonators were. Hope that helps!

ruslbus what did that cost you? And where did you have it done? I have been wanting to get more sound out of my 300 but the corsa cat back is alot of money but I heard it has no drone sound in the cab which is important to me. How does yours sound inside?

I have been wanting to get more sound out of my 300 but the corsa cat back is alot of money but I heard it has no drone sound in the cab which is important to me. How does yours sound inside? I had Master Muffler do my install. The whole thing cost me $532.39 out the door. Some of the other guys may know of some cheaper places. I get too impatient trying to find deals and end up just getting it done. As far as drone, yes I have heavy drone between 20 and 40 mph while accelerating slightly. However above that and especially freeway speeds there is no drone and the car isn't much louder then it was with the stock system. However when you get on it, that's another store. A guy told me last night that a wagon just shouldn't sound like mine. ;D Ben has a similar system to mine, but his mufflers are were the original mufflers used to be, and I think he straight piped through the resonators. The two system sound a little different. In fact last night at the MOU Bar-B-Q they had us put our two cars side by side to compare the sound. Ben's sounds a little deeper then mine. You would have to get feed back from someone that was standing behind the two cars. I think it's best to hear them for yourself. Again I hope that helps!
