I'm the new guy here

Hi - my name is Lee. I was at the Jordan Landing Cruise last evening with my Charger SRT8. Chris was there and so was Ben. They convinced me to join the SLCLX group. So why not add one more club and one more forum.

I have a '70 Dodge Charger R/T SE. I purchased it in '74. I recently purchased an '06 Charger SRT8 and I love both cars. I am just starting to tear down the '70 for restoration and sure miss driving it. The SRT eases the pain of seperation.

I'm also a member of Mopars of Utah and we've been very happy to have the LX people mingle with us. I love the Mopars, both classic and current.

I am hesitant to say this as I'm not trying to poach members from other clubs but MOU is having a pot luck BBQ at my home this coming week. All LX members are welcome. If there is interest and I'm not over-stepping my boundrys ;D , I can post details here.

Also, RMR club racing is Friday the 8th. Anyone is welcome to join us. I think Gordon has talked lots about this.

Good seeing you, Ben & Jamie(Jho) at the car show. Too bad we couldn't get that guy to shut his trap bout his Honda Accord and 217MPH Dodge Avenger ;D Bout the BBQ, you would no way be stepping on boundaries, We had mention having the 2 clubs together since so many of us are on both!!! Please do post details on the BBQ, Which day/weekend & Time were you guys planning on? Thanks again for the open invitation to have us at your house. Let me know if ya need me to bring anything.

Don't worry about promoting the MOU activities, their used to me doing it all the time. Jamie has a tread going on this site about the Bar-B-Q as well.

My address is 7418 S 3200 W. There is only one way into our subdivision. Go to 7325 S on 3200 W. Turn left (East - which is the only way you can turn). Go one block and turn Right. We are about 150 yards down the road on the right with Red Wood siding. I'll have the MOU sign and my Mopars out front. The yard is big so we'll have plenty of food and shade.

This is a pot luck meal so bring your own meat to BBQ and a chair. Please email Jaime to let him know you are attending. [e-mail]

Please be aware that there are children in the neighborhood. We don't want any injuries.

As for alcohol, I'd prefer that you not bring any. If you simply can't live without it and can keep it under control - well please keep it under control.

Hey Lee, this is richard with the torred challenger that is part of the MOU club also, but always has some previous plans on the MOU night so never comes...ya thats my bad. Good to see you made it over to the "other side".
