I just wanted to take a minute to thank those that are planning on attending the walk or who have donated to our team. Logan is adjusting well to his new lifestyle and his levels have been the best his doctor has ever seen for a new patient. We are only $10 from our goal and Logan receives a prize is we meet it. Do we have any info if they are doing a car show for this and how much it will be to register? YES THEY ARE!!! $10 for registration and it runs from 8-12 with them handing out awards at 12:30. Greg was kind enough to post the info on my 1st post of this. |

We are so excited for Logan to be able to get out there and see all of the other kids that have to live with this demanding disease. Everyone thinks that "Oh it's just diabetes, they can take insulin and be fine". It is so much more than that. The ups and downs and trying to get it balanced as well as the sleepless nights of sneaking into his room to check his levels to make sure he doesn't go to low and start a seizure. Not to mention the "new car payment" like monthly bill to provide him with all the medicine and products he needs to sustain life. Again we are so thankful for the showing of support for our family and we look forward to seeing everyone that can attend tomorrow. Christian |
