So I'm driving to work this morning, minding my own business. Even Flow (Pearl Jam) is cranked up. Out of now where, a 2x4 comes flipping across 2 lanes of traffic (from left to right) I swerve left, HARD!!! As I crank the wheel back to the right, the Falkens break loose, fishtailing at 80, I see something else in the road, don't know what it was, but I couldn't avoid it. I hit it, and hit it HARD. I felt it flip up and hit the undercarriage. At this point, I don't know if my heart is racing from the stunt driving, or from the fact that I was nauseated because I knew the outcome wasn't gonna be pretty. I get to work and this is what I see.  The bolts (3 of the 7) holding the spoiler on have torn through the fascia. There are chunks missing, and the dent thankfully, isn't that bad, should pop out.  Here you can see the spoiler nuts ripped out, and the entire fog lens is falling off. The fog housing is loose, won't know whats going on underneath till I get home tonight and lift the front end up. |

That sucks, Insurance company might consider car totalled.  Just playin, Sucks to see that, good news at least it damage your radiator or engine. Bro in law hit a ladder on the freeway, car hasnt been the same since. |

Dang Greg, that sux! What is it with all this crap on the roads? I get it last week and you this week. I know how you feel but I just kept telling myself "It could've been worse and at least nobody got hurt."

The entire fascia needs to be replaced, but I found one in Magnesium Pearl for $100 + shipping. Now I just need to find the $100 + shipping.

Ouch!!!!! I guess I'm going to keep my car in the garage for a while until this road debris thing blows over.  Glad you found are replacement front end. Too bad you couldn't find that 300 front end you've been wanting. Now would be the time. |
